Claritin (Claratyne)Product: Claratyne (Claratin in U.S)Packaging Type: Packets of 10 x 10mg or 30 x 10mg tablets Manufacturer: Schering-Plough Pty. We no longer stock Claratin or Claratyne. Description and Notes: Claratyne is the brand name of Loratadine, which is sold in New Zealand, and is the same as Claritin sold in the US. Claratyne relieves symptoms associated with perennial and seasonal allergies: such as sneezing, nasal discharge and itching, as well as itching and burning of the eyes. Claritin has no drowsy side effects. Directions: Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature. Keep your tablets in the blister pack until you take them. If you take the tablets out of the blister pack they will not keep well. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. Packaging and Product: Claratyne tablets are small white tablets, which contain loratadine 10mg, starch, magnesium sterate and lactose. The tablets are supplied in a blister pack of 30 10mg tablets. |
