Use
Tilade is an anti-inflammatory medication prescribed for use on a regular basis to control symptoms in people with mild to moderate asthma.
Dosage
Tilade Inhaler should not be used with other mouthpieces.
Avoid spraying the medication in your eyes.
To work properly, Tilade must be inhaled every day at regular intervals. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take double doses.
Side Effects
Side effects of Tilade include Chest pain, coughing, fever, headache, nausea, inflamed nose and sinuses, sore throat, unpleasant taste, upper respiratory tract infection, wheezing.
Tilade can also include side effects of Abdominal pain, bronchitis, conjunctivitis (pinkeye), diarrhea, difficult or labored breathing, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, increased sputum, indigestion, rash, viral infection, vomiting
Precautions
This medication will not stop an asthma attack. However, you should continue to take it during an attack, along with a bronchodilator (a medication that increases air flow to your lungs) to relieve the acute symptoms.
If your symptoms do not improve or get worse, call your doctor right away; don't try increasing the dose to make the medication work.
Medications that are inhaled can cause coughing and wheezing in some people. If you experience these symptoms, stop taking Tilade and notify your doctor immediately.
