Use Generic Celebrex for treatment for pain and inflammation from arthritis, or strained joints. Generic Celecoxib provides powerful, 24-hour relief from osteoarthritis (OA). Celebrex is also approved for the treatment of adult rheumatoid arthritis (RA), acute pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps). Dosage Generic Celebrex can be taken with or without food. The recommended dose for OA is 200 mg a day, which may be taken as a single 200-mg dose or as a 100-mg dose twice a day. The recommended dose for RA is 100 mg to 200 mg, twice a day. If you are taking Generic Celebrex for other reasons, your doctor will tell you the correct dosage to take. Side effects Side effects of Generic Celebrex can include Headache, Indigestion, Upper respiratory, Tract infection, Diarrhoea, Sinus inflammation, Stomach pain, Nausea. Precautions You should continue to take Generic Celebrex as prescribed even when you are feeling better. Generic Celebrex can cause fluid retention and swelling in some patients.
