How Generic Propecia Works

Generic Propecia specifically lowers the levels of DHT in the scalp, thus helping to reverse the balding process. Male pattern hair loss is largely caused by dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Men with mild to moderate hair loss can expect to benefit from the use of Generic Propecia. Generic Propecia is not addictive.

How to take Generic Propecia

Take Generic Propecia only when prescribed by your doctor. The recommended dose is one tablet taken once each day. Generic Propecia will not work faster or better if you take it more than once a day.

How Long to Take Generic Propecia

Generic Propecia will not have immediate results. Male pattern baldness develops over a long period of ime. Because it takes time for new hair to grow, you will not see immediate results. Daily use for 3 months or more may be necessary before you notice increased hair growth or prevention of further loss. Continue taking Generic Propecia for as long as your doctor prescribes. If you stop taking Generic Propecia, hair loss is likely to resume.

Generic Propecia Side Effects

Generic Propecia helps most men with male pattern hair loss, but as with all medicines, it may have unwanted side effects. The most common side effects of generic proecia difficulty in achieving an erection impotence, less desire for sex (decreased libido), and decreased amount of semen released during sex (although this decrease does not appear to interfere with normal sexual function). Each of these side effects occurred in less than two men in one hundred, and these effects disappeared in men who stopped taking Generic Propecia, as well as in many men who continued treatment.
