Use Headway is the generic version of the popular hair re growth product Rogaine. Headway contains the same amount of the active ingredient Minoxidil that stimulates hair growth in both men and women as Rogaine. Studies show that Headway works by increasing the size of hair follicles, resulting in longer thicker hair. Dosage and Application Apply a small amount (approximately 1 ml) to a dry, clean scalp twice daily. Do not shampoo your for 4 hours after the application of Headway. Wash your hands thoroughly after using the product. Do not use a hair dryer to dry the hair or scalp as this will make the medication less effective. Allow 2 to 4 hours for the product to dry as it can stain clothing and bed linen. Side effects Side effect from using Headway are considered rare. However in some circumstances you may experience an allergic reaction with one or more of the following symptoms: itching, a rash or other like skin irritation; acne at the site of application; a burning scalp; increased hair loss; red or inflamed skin; swelling of the face. Discontinue use immediately if you experience a fast or irregular heartbeat, or experience chest pains and seek urgent medical attention. Precautions This product is for external use only. It is not clear what effects this product has on pregnancy or breast feeding, however you are advised to be cautious and seek medical advice before using this product if you are breast feeding a baby, pregnant or wanting to be pregnant. |
