Use
Sinemet is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and syndrome. It is useful in relieving many of the symptoms of parkinsonism, particularly rigidity and bradykinesia. Sinemet frequently is helpful in the management of tremor, dysphagia, sialorrhea, and postural instability associated with Parkinson's disease and syndrome.
Dosage
Dosage should be titrated to the individual patient needs and this may require adjusting both the individual dose and the frequency of administration. Take Sinemet as prescribed by your doctor.

Advise your doctor of your complete medical history. People who have a history of heart problems should take this medication cautiously, as with people who suffer from wide-angle glaucoma. Use of Sinemet during pregnancy requires that the anticipated benefits to the mother, outweigh the potential risks to the foetus.
