Use
Calutide is the generic version of Casodex and is used to treat prostate cancer. It is a non-steroidal anti-androgen that works by blocking the effects of certain chemicals that are necessary for cancer cells to live. The length of treatment will depend on the type of cancer you have and the how well you respond to the medication.
Dosage
The correct dose of Calutide will depend on the type of cancer you have. You are strongly advised to follow your doctor's instructions for taking this medication. Typical instructions for taking Calutide say that one 50mg tablet daily is satisfactory.
Side effects
The side effects from taking Calutide are considered common. They include:
